Is it possible to use GPU acceleration on deconvlucy

8 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
Im trying to sharpen images using deconvlucy. I'm wondering if it is possible to use the GPU to accelerate this?
I tried with the code below, but it does not work.
image = gpuArray(imread('peppers.png'));
%Convert the image to doubles, and apply convolutions to obtain the gradient image. Then, using the gradient image, sharpen the image by a factor of amount.
dimage = im2double(image);
PSF = fspecial('gaussian',7,10);
gradient=deconvlucy(dimage, PSF);

'deconvlucy' function doesn not support GPU acceleration. You can refer to this documentation to find out whether a MATLAB function supports GPU acceleration or not.

By convert it, I assume you mean, make a modified copy of it.

Hi! Yes what Im considering is copy the matlab script and change it so that it uses gpuArrays etc. Im just wondering if there may be some limitations that Im not aware of. Im still quite new to the parallel toolbox. Thanks!
