Getting 9 digit datenum into a timestamp format of Date and time.

I have a number representing a date:

val = 1554579550.00000

I want to convert it to a timestamp (date + time) but can't figure out how, applying datestr(val) returns the following value:

datestr(val) = 29-Mar-6294 

What's the proper way of handling these 9 digit number dates?
