How to give images as input for fitcensemble

I want to train a 'Local CNN', as an ensemble of CNNs to classify images. I tried using built-in MATLAB function fitcensemble to do so. But was unable as it seems it does not accept images. Please guide me to do so. I'm refering the following IEEE paper for building my project.
