why matlabshared.supportpkg.getSupportPackageRoot doesn't exist

Hi,
I have matlab r2014a, the following command
>> matlabshared.supportpkg.getSupportPackageRoot
return :
Undefined variable "matlabshared" or function
"matlabshared.supportpkg.getSupportPackageRoot".
Can you help please ?

It seems you're attempting to use the function "matlabshared.supportpkg.getSupportPackageRoot" to obtain the root folder of support packages in MATLAB R2014a.
The error occurs because this function was introduced in MATLAB R2016a and is not available in earlier versions. You can find this information in the "Version History" section at the bottom of this page: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/matlabshared.supportpkg.getsupportpackageroot.html
