MATLAB does not exactly have batch files.
See https://www.mathworks.com/help/parallel-computing/batch-processing.html for the Parallel Computing batch() facility
See https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/matlabwindows.html for the "-r" or "-batch" command line options
See https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/system.html for how to use system() to run a .bat at the Windows command line.
