Simulink SPI data frame size

Hi experts,
I'm using the STM32 Nucleo hardware target with Simulink.
My SPI device (Allegro A3992) requires 19-bit data frames but Simulink will only allow build in types 8, 16, 32 bit etc (the embedded compiler errors if I set the signal spec to fixed point 19 bits).
How can I sent 19 bit packets?
