Does Matlab support the DJI Tello in the same way it supports the Parrot Mambo?

Now that the Parrot Mambo is discontinued, is Matlab supporting the DJI Tello?

Hi Christopher,
Is there any plans to allow for low-level access with this package in the same way we can control the motor speeds individually with the Parrot package? I took a brief glance at the package, and it looks like its just a Matlab version of the existing TelloPy package, where only high level commands such as take-off, land, flip, go forward/back, can be used in control of the drone.
Thanks,
Kaden

I have the same question as Kaden, I really hope there is a low-level interface to it. Would anyone be able to confirm?

Hi Kaden,
We are currently working on supporting the Tello drone in MATLAB and this will be available in an upcoming release.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Vijay.
I am planning to work on 'Indoor navigation of Drones' as my M.tech project. Is it ok to go with Tello drone. Sorry to ask this question here. But if you can share your contact details, I can discuss it seperately.

I might not be the right person to help you with that. I would suggest you to evaluate the drone capabilities with your project requirements and then make an informed decision.
Tello pilots can be a good forum to get suggestions from people who might have worked on a similar use case with the Tello drone: https://tellopilots.com/

NO.
Mathworks is actively evaluating the Tello, but as of this post it is not supported; I have no information as to whether it will be supported or not.
