How can I plot the average of a range of data in matlab??
Suppose,
F(x,y)=x+y
And x and y are square matrix of dimension 100x100. I need to plot F(x,y) along x. And constraint is average of y for a range of values of dimension 5x100.

For me, the whole thing is not clear. If x is a 100x100 matrix, how can you plot against x? A plot normally plots against scalar variables.
The best thing would be to give a concrete example of what's desired.
