Hello why I get this error when I am going to set the path ?

Error using narginchk (line 10)
too many input arguments

Error in usejava (line 43)
narginchk(1,1);

Error in javachk (line 43)
if ~usejava(requiredLevel)

Error in pathtool (line 11)
error(javachk('swing', mfilename));
 
Error using matlab.desktop.editor.openDocument (line 29)
too many input arguments

Error in opentoline (line 43)
    editorObj = matlab.desktop.editor.openDocument(fileName);
