MATLAB Version: 9.7.0.1247435 (R2019b) hangs and does not boot

Suddenly, MATLAB Version: 9.7.0.1247435 (R2019b) Update 3 hanged on usual startup by clicking. I re-installed MATLAB R2019b. But, it did not work.

It starts from termonal using the following command.

The following is the copy of the terminal display:

kawahara@MacBook-Pro-4 /Applications % /Applications/MATLAB_R2019b.app/bin/matlab -nodesktop

Finally, it was fixed.

I started MATLAB with nodesktop option.

/Applications/MATLAB_R2019b.app/bin/matlab -nodesktop

Then, started desktop from the command line.

It opened the usual desktop.

Then, exit using the menu-bar.

Next time, I was able to start MATLAB by clicking the MATLAB icon.
