In some cases it is possible to install a toolbox that you are not licensed for. That can occur especially if you are installing from DVD or if you are using a network license (such as for a university or corporation). It can also happen if a university provides access to installation files (to reduce bandwidth) but does not provide licenses.
Which situation are you in?
Note: MATLAB Student Suite does not include a licence for Robotics Toolboxn in such a case if you cannot use a campus licence then you would need to purchase a licence from the online store.

You can solve this problem by purchasing a new MATLAB license. At the time of purchase, be sure to add Robotics Toolbox to the cart.
