Dock Simulink into MATLAB

Unfortunately, Simulink can not be docked into MATLAB Desktop, however, is there any workaround to force docking/combinig the two windows into one?
Also, are MATLAB developers thinking of or planning to add the dock feature to Simulink in a future release?

I'm here to express support for this feature request.
Now (as of 2023b), there is a lot of tabs and docking happening inside the Simulink windows (e.g. "Code", "Diagnostic Viewer", ...). There is even a full-blown ribbonized menu system for Simulink, plus Apps. Why not just combine this all into the MATLAB Desktop, right?
