I would like to learn model based design with Matlab, is there any course content apart from the one which is in mathworks website. That courseware is old and so many options are missing in current version of Matlab. If there is any textbook or any kind of courseware please share it.

You may use the following documentation pages to get started with Model-based design.
STEP 1: System Definition and Layout
STEP 2: Model and Validate a System
STEP 3: Design a System in Simulink
You may also refer the following video. Though the demonstration was done using R2014b version, it gives you the introduction to the Model-based design. If you want to try out the examples shown in this video and can not find corresponding options/blocks in current version, you may use release notes to check how they are modified in later versions.
