Matlab can not run add layout lines in powerpoint and gives strange error

just after some successfull runnings of my code, and simply adding more functions, now I am getting a new strange error :

Error using mlreportgen.ppt.Presentation/add
Cannot open file. createInputStream failed

Did you happen to switch directories into a directory that you do not have write access to?

no, but you helped me look at the right direction Walter. I had left matlab base on some other folder, and the app uigetdir() was not able to change also the base current folder and the next operations were being done wrongly. I think when app designer lines go beyound a few thousand lines, some problems happen.

I mean, I do

mydir=uigetdir()
drawnow;
mainfold= pwd

but if Matlab base is on another foder, mainfold get that one and not mydir. so, I should first change the matlab base folder

uigetdir() does not change current directories: it only gets a directory name from the user. You would then use it to construct file names or folder names, especially using fullfile()
