Representing coupled feeds in custom geometries of antennas

How do I model a custom vivaldi element with a coupled feeding structure, and create arrays out of it? I found this page that describes how to use pcbStack to add a feeding structure. However, I have two problems with this :
- The antenna I want to create does not have the substrate covering the entire antenna (only a feedboard) - having a smaller BoardShape than the metal layer throws an error.
 - It is not possible to create linear or rectangular arrays using pcbStack objects (or even customAntennaStl)

I have the vivaldi antenna (modified - with a curved slot, etc) in the form of a customAntennaGeometry. How do I place the feed if I want to make it an equivalent to the coupled feed? And when specifying the feed, aren't two locations to be specified? How do you specify the location of ground (as can be done using pcbStack elements)? Any help (even theory-wise) would be appreciated as I am a beginner with antennas.
