When I write a plot, it has
  • plot of x y variables
  • legend of variables
  • specification of x plot
  • specification of y plot
  • specification of the title
Is there any way to define an object for all these definitions?
For example, suppose I develop a plot of
  • day from January 1 to December 31
  • temperature
with all these specifications. Then I want to save all these speifications. Then I want to draw a second plot for January 1 to June 30 by just using xlin.

Did you specify those by code? If so, then you can just encapsulate all those things into a function.
Or did you manually change things with the plot figure's Property Inspector? If you manually changed things, you can do File->Generate Code from the pulldown menu of the figure to make code for all the things you manually did.

Then you can just encapsulate all those things into a function. If you don't know how, then show me all the things you did to set up the plot, like calling xlabel(), ylabel(), title(), xticks(), yticks(), xlim(), etc.
