And will it work or will i need to repurchase it ?

You won't need to repurchase it. You own a license for as long as your license agreement says you own it. I could completely uninstall my software and re-install it from the installer and re-authenticate it and it would work fine. I've done it several times. If it doesn't for you (which I doubt) then you can just call up the Mathworks and tell them to send you a link for a new download.
