Installing Matlab/R2020a on ubuntu is giving sun.security.validator error

Hi,

I am trying to install Matlab/R2020a on a VM running Ubuntu 18.0.2 LTS.

Whiel installing it is giving sun.security.validator.valdiatorException: PKIX path building failed error.

Can anyone help to fix this please ?

It is my understanding that you are facing issues while downloading MATLAB on your system.

Try to go through all the system requirements and make sure your system fits the requirements perfectly.

Thanks for you answer.The reffered website mentions that supported OS are

• Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
• Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Based on that I assume my OS : 18.0.2 LTS is not supported. I can't upgrade my os at this point. So I will leave it for now.
