where is the "start" button in matlab 2012b version?

I can not find the "start" button, but in the old version,it is at the left and bottom, thanks for answers!

The Start button was removed for R2012b.
The toolstrip - here tab apps - is supposed to address the need for the Start button better. That is for the "find something quickly" use case.
If you need something even more often, you can create a shortcut. This means both uses cases are addressed my looking at the top area of the MATLAB IDE. I personally find this preferable and not using the start button was an irritation for me 1-2 times.

thanks for answers!but how to create shortcut for toolbox?
At the top, there is this "shortcuts" tab you can use. You only have to know the name of the toolbox tool you want to start. You can find it by hovering over the apps button, then e.g. for the Curve Fitting App, you can see the comman 'cftool'
