How to create a contour plot from 2D picture

Hello guys, can anyone help me to create a contour from a 2D image, the contour I mean it's like this. Thanks.

Can't you remove the colors to get what you need? And are those extra line pieces on purpose?

If you have image as attached in the left, you can use patch, fill which fills the specififed color. If the image is different one, read about imcontour.
