Hi every one,
I have a question regarding searching for particular pixels in an image. Let’s say I have an sRGB photo, I chose an ROI in it and measured the mean RGB [R G B] values and converted it to CIELab [L* a* b*]. How can I find all pixels 1) with a dE or dE2000 more than 0.5, or 2) in the range of 0.5-0.6, versus that ROI? Also, how I can create a heat map for those pixels. By a color map I meant a map overlay over the original image.
Thanks.

Code for that is in the demo in my File Exchange: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/31118-color-segmentation-by-delta-e-color-difference
It asks you to draw a region in the image and then makes an image where every pixel is the delta E from the mean color in the region you drew.
