how to delete a row from the matrix??

Suppose if I have a matrix as:
san = [ 1 2 3; 4 5 6; 7 8 9; 10 11 12; 13 14 15]
if I want to delete second row and all of its column then ow can I do this??

delete(x,:)=[]; where x is the row u want 2 delete

Two virtually identical questions in the same day ( http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/58362-how-to-delete-data-from-2d-matrix) - is this homework, the same homework as Wei's? If so, it should have been tagged as homework instead of "matlab code".
