Matlab switch cursor from other programm to the command window while running a script

Hello!
I recently had to change the Windows version on my computer and I reinstalled Matlab and now I cannot work at the same time with an other application (like Word other a web browser) because now while running, Matlab change the cursor from the other application to Matlab command window. This is very annoying because I cannot get other work done while a script in Matlab is running. In my script figures are created, they are opened in a pop up window an then closed. That was not a problem with my old Windows installation. On my old Windows installation I could let a Matlab script run and at the same time i could work for example in a word document. Now I have to wait until matlab script ends because everything I write goes to the command window.
Have anyone experienced the same problem? do you know how to fix it?

See program called Tray Everything, it allows you to hide running programs in Windows tray, and it will never lose the focus from programs you work in.
