How to get a power factor close to unity in a single phase boost rectifier?

3 views (last 30 days)
I have been trying to simulate a power factor correction (pfc) circuit in MATLAB/Simulink. Problems : 1. NOT able to get a AC line current in phase with AC line voltage 2. Output voltage (400V) NOT constant on changing the load resistance and AC line voltage.
can anyone give me the values that needs to be used in the power circuit and controller. A simulation model would be helpful.

Hi Nila,
Please check out the video and the model submission on file exchange to get aan idea on how to model a power factor correction circuit based on requirements.
Best,
Siddharth

I need help Please. I will be building an onboard EV charging system, which has the following specs: Input: 220V AC phase-neutral RMS, Output: 400V DC, input frequency: 60Hz, Load power: 3.3kW]. I would like you to help out in simulating a 'Single-Phase Power Factor Correction (PFC) Converter'
