Driving Scenario Designer: How to make EgoVehicle Stop using Camera or Radar

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I am new to matlab driving designer scenario and was looking to create a simulation where an actor would sense an object or moving pedestrian by using a camera or lidar. Once it is in the field of view (radar or sensor), the ego-vehicle would stop or slow down. I am not sure how i would be able to do this. I have ran other scenarios that say emergency breaking but it does not react to the enviroment, but follows the set waypoints.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you ever figure out how to make it stop? The AEB example is broken, and I have reached out to Matlab to fix it.

You can refer to the Autonomous Emergency Braking with Sensor Fusion example to learn about simualting emergency breaking scenarios.

Hi NIthin kapgate sir,
we need to develop a prototype that need to consider traffic light position and need to move in accodence to that sir .the main thing is that we need to give optimal way to ego vehicle with out way points.
