How to process multiple variable through a single equation

2 views (last 30 days)
I am trying to shorten a script that is enormous. I am not sure how to create an idependent name, and use the variable in the equation and loop through with hundreds of variables. Here is an example of my problem:
SigIdx = {'r' 't' 'y' 'u' 'i' 'o'};
'SigIdx'_ISO = gridfit(n,M,'SigIdx',ngrid,Mgrid);

This helps with creating the stucture and simplifies my scripting, but I am still having problems with the equation.
I still am having problems having the equation process the data in each variable. What I neglected to mention was that 'r' and all the variables have numerical values, not sure if that matters.
I see that creating a structure can help my naming convention, but how do I get each individual variable to run through the equation?
SigIdx = {'r' 't' 'y' 'u' 'i' 'o'}; 'SigIdx'_ISO = gridfit(n,M,'SigIdx',ngrid,Mgrid);
