I was inspired by the Reflow Hot Plate video and would like to create my own design with ATtiny202 MCU and Triac control. Although I have designed analog circuits already and I am working on ATtiny202 software I don't have any experience with Simulink.
I approximated the recommended Reflow Profile by 7th order polynomial (1,10396515946915E-13 -1,21806142019230E-10 5,19718805718757E-08 -1,10950838547447E-05 1,33548467063687E-03 -1,06064352764995E-01 6,77204249729155E+00 -1,13172803799129E+02).
The Triac control will be in 2% increments from 0; 2%, 4% ... 100% by Zero Detect Crossing of 220V/50Hz power. I.e. I will turn on the Triac every two full half-waves in the 1 second period, when I measure the temperature of the hot plate (1 000 W) and adjust the power for another second accordingly.
I assume that I will measure the actual temperature rise over time as a function of the set power to get the function of the rate of temperature rise as a function of time e.g. for power = 26%, 50%, 76% and 100%.
Any idea how to start with the Simulink I have to buy yet to autotune the PID coefficients?
