Start matlab on windows 8

Sorry, I did a search and after 300 threads I couldn't find anything.
I can't start the program, what is the .exe? right now the only thing I can do is run the entire set-up over again so it auto launches at the end.

If Matlab is installed, and unless your computer is acting up, this should work:
1. Press the windows button, (to enter the start-window).
2. Type 'matlab' (it will search automatically, and find the matlab.exe file
3. Open it

You can find the matlab.exe under bin folder.
