Position of element in a row

Hi,

I have a 3 x 2 matrix, A:

A = [1 2 3; 3 5 4]

How can I find the position of the number 3 in each row? I want to create B = [3;1]

Any help would be aprpeciated!

Use second output of find()

help find

find(a==3,2) gives me the element number (ie. [4 5]

I want to get the column number in which the number 3 occurs in each row (i.e. i want to have B = [3; 1]).

[Wanted, ~] = find((A == 3).')

Wanted = 2×1
