Nichols chart clipping issue

When I plot the nichols chart of a closed loop LTI continous time MIMO system, some areas of the curve looks clipped. Initially I thought it was a resolution issue, but closer inspection shows the curve is very smooth, then abrrubtly jumps in seemingly random areas. Any idea as to what is happening or how to fix it?
