How to save training data in two vector sets which are mapped?

I need to save training data which consists of sentences and some attribute for each word in the sentence. Since I need each word in the sentence to map to an attribute, I think that I should use vectors for this. However, I don't think that I can do this task in a text document, so I was thinking that I should save the two vectors in MATLAB environment itself. Is there a good way to save the vectors, or do I just open a new script, initialize the two vectors and save my entire training data in the MATLAB script itself?
