Is there a way in Matlab to generate an optimal Latin Hypercube with equidistantly spaced points?

I want to generate optimal Latin Hypercube sampling in Matlab, where the sampled points are near equidistantly spaced between one another. In short, I want the sampling to cover the design space as uniformly as possible but in the form of a Latin Hypercube Design.
In the figure below (left) is what I am currently getting when using the Matlab function lhsdesign. I would like to get what's seen in the image on the right; points are near equidistantly spaced.
Any ideas how?
Thank you!
