Hi,
You can make use of the Financial Toolbox. With this, you can work on technical indicators to find moving averages, momentums, volume indicators, and rate of change. You also have the option to create financial charts to get the trading patterns, such as candlestick, open-high-low-close, and Bollinger band charts.
You can evaluate your investment performance by using functions like "elpm", "emaxdrawdown", "lpm", etc., which can help you in computing expected lower partial moments for normal asset returns, expected maximum drawdown for Brownian motion and computing sample lower partial moments of data respectively. There are many more such function which you can use for investment performance evaluation. You can explore portfolio optimization by using mean-variance, mean absolute deviation (MAD), and conditional value at risk (CVaR). You can define investment strategies and use the backtesting framework to run backtests, analyze results, and generate performance metrics for your strategies from historical or simulated market data. You can work on cash flow analysis, Fixed-Income Analysis, and Option Pricing.
