F-Secure Antivirus 2013 found a virus named as:
Gen:Variant.Kazy.249057 (virus)
in •C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2013a\bin\win32\boost_serialization-vc100-mt-1_49.dll Action: quarantined
Matlab won't start after this saying boost_serialization is missing.
i have submitted sample to F-Secure (as false positive)
Is this a false positive ? Should i re-install Matlab ?

After submitting the sample as false positive to F-Secure,now it is not making false detections for this .dll file.

If you have submitted the file to F-Secure to check, if this is a false positive, trust the reply you get from there. Of course it could be a false positive or an infected file.
So if F-Secure trusts the file, restore it. If the file is recognized as infected, check you complete computer carefully. Installing Matlab is one step, but more work is required.
