How can I edit the data tip content via the user interface

I created a datatip on an image plot and it shows XY, index and RGB. When I choose to edit the datatip with the property inspector it shows "data tip content" with XY, index and RGB. There are trash cans next to them as though I could delete these rows, but they are grayed out. Can I enable the capability to delete unwanted rows?
