image tear over camera link using image acquisition and image tool box

I am acquiring camera data from a supported CL frame grabber, i do a little processing and then display the image. I have seen this problem before in labview and is related to the asynchronous nature of the capture and display systems, labview had a VI that tried to sync the display scanning to the camera output that worked pretty well. without this feature you get a slow moving horizontal tear that scrolls, you need a moving object to see the tear. this means the the acquired frame is split between 2 output frames.

anyone ever had to deal with this problem? open to suggestions, using labview is not one of them however. thanks, Gerard
