Why do I receive the following error:
MathWorks Licensing Error 83
Your license server is not configured for this release of <PRODUCTNAME>.
Contact your system administrator to update the Network License Manager to the latest release.

This error can occur for the following reasons:
1. The version of MATLAB is newer than the version of the license.dat file on the server machine. To resolve this issue, update the license.dat file on the server machine to the latest release that you are licensed for. Contact your license administrator to make the update.
The license.dat file on the server machine is located in:
$MATLAB/etc ($MATLAB\flexlm for releases prior to R2010b on Windows)
(where $MATLAB is the MATLAB installation directory)
For more information on this process, see the article below.
NOTE: Once you have made changes to your license file, be sure to restart the license manager for these changes to take effect. For more information on how to restart the license manager, see the Related Solution linked below.
2. The version of MATLAB is newer than the version of the license manager software (lmtools) on the server. To resolve this issue, update the license manager to the latest version.
For more information on this process, see the article below.
Note: If you have just updated the Network License Manager, make sure that you have updated the path to the MLM in your DAEMON line.
