How do I switch my MATLAB installation from one license to another?

I installed MATLAB using a license, and now I want my installation to use a different license.

How can I update my MATLAB installation so it uses my new license?

Since MATLAB is already installed from one license, all you will need to do is deactivate your current license and then activate your new license file, this essentially swaps your license files. Please refer to the instructions below:
