RoadRunner Scenario: Cosimulate with CARLA
Simulate and visualize scenarios with RoadRunner Scenario™ and connect to CARLA for cosimulation. Cosimulate to enable RoadRunner Scenario to control any vehicle in a scenario, with easy state and behavior control, while the CARLA software engine manages other vehicles in the scenario. Combine the ease of development and design provided by RoadRunner Scenario with the scalability provided by CARLA.

RoadRunner scenario is an interactive editor that lets you design scenarios for simulating and testing the automated driving systems. It supports in editor simulation for scenario visualization and connection to CARLA for co-simulation. In this video, we'll explore co-simulating actors with CARLA.
First, we'll look at exporting a scene to CARLA. After exporting, this can be imported into CARLA for co-simulation. Now, we'll load in a scenario and co-simulate with CARLA.
This actor is controlled by CARLA while the other is controlled by RoadRunner. Co-simulation enables road runner scenario to control a vehicle in a scene with easy state and behavior control while the CARLA software engine manages other vehicles in the scene.
We can add vehicles in RoadRunner and see it added to the co-simulation with CARLA. We can create a new behavior for a road runner vehicle using a CARLA algorithm to change the behavior. Co-simulation combines the ease of development and design provided by RoadRunner scenario with the scalability provided by CARLA.
