How can I extend the data in the x direction.

I used the curve fitting tool box to generate to fit the following data. But currently I am struggling to extend it in X direction where the x is 5000 instead of 350. How can I do it?

x = (length_wg*10*10*10*10*10*10)';
y = T_downward_80nm*-1;
f = fit (x, y, 'exp2' )
plot (f, x, y)
xlabel('Length [um]');
ylabel('Tranmission %');

Try this —

y5000 = feval(f, 5000)

I cannot run the posted code (no data) so I am posting this as UNTESTED CODE. It should work, if I understand the posted code correctly.
