Is there a way to remove the mesh from an alphaShape plot?

I plot shapes with the function alphaShape (see attached figure).
Is there a way to remove the mesh of the alphaShape to plot the same shape but with a uniform color/shading?
I can see the option to change the color of the shape but not to remove the mesh.
I plot my shapes with the following syntax:
shp1 = alphaShape(x1,y1,1);
shp2 = alphaShape(x2,y2,1);
p1 = plot(shp1,'FaceAlpha',0.5);
p2 = plot(shp2,'FaceColor','red','FaceAlpha',0.5);
Thank you

shp1 = alphaShape(x1,y1,1);
shp2 = alphaShape(x2,y2,1);
p1 = plot(shp1,'FaceAlpha',0.5,'EdgeColor','none');
p2 = plot(shp2,'FaceColor','red','FaceAlpha',0.5,'EdgeColor','none');
