Read .off files

From reading the mesh file(.off files), it can be extracted 2 parts of data(vertex and face).
How to keep the features for applying a machine learning algorithm?
For instance,
[idx,C] = kmeans(X,3);.
How to build X here from mesh file (.off file)?
