Why cant I open MATLAB on my Mac after logging into MATLAB on my iPad?

I recently downloaded matlab mobile for my ipad and now i get a License Manager Error -9 when I try to open matlab on my mac. I have logged out of matlab on my ipad but that hasnt helped. Any suggetions?
