- You can put in a clutch so that the engine is always running, and only engage the clutch when you want the engine to power the vehicle.
- You can add a starter motor to start the engine (like in a real car).

Hello,
I am doing a project on 48V mild HEV using the generic engine block from Simscape Driveline in it I have configured the initial engine speed=0, but by doing so, for all the throttle values my engine torque and speed is zero, how can I solve this issue?

If your engine reaches 0 speed, it will stall (just like in a real car). You can adjust the stall speed thresholds in the parameter settings for the Generic Engine block.
