You will want to follow these instructions on uninstalling on Windows when the uninstaller fails and manually remove the directory for your release of MATLAB. By default on Windows, this would be the following directory:

C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2020b

You want to make sure to perform a clean install of MATLAB, so treat deleting the above directory as Step 1 in the below article and continue following it from there.
