how to fit trend line in time series

Hi. I plotted a figure of my time series but I want to calculate and fit in the trend line.
Can I use the polyfit to do this?

If you have the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox, use the refline or refcurve functions. Other options are also linked in those documentation sections.
