1 ft is exactly equal to 0.3048 meters (1 in = 2.54 cm). The conversion factor for this problem needs to be updated to reflect this value else correctly solving for each solution set is more trial and error and less math.

Thank you for providing the required precision of the solution. However, the precision of the conversion factor needs to be stated or else the exact value needs to be used for this conversion. 5280(miles to feet)*0.3048(feet to meters)/1000(meters to km) is exactly equal to 1.609344 not 1.60934
